Discover the Viking power symbol necklace in stainless steel.
We chose to use 316L steel for the making of this bracelet, an alloy combining iron and carbon, to ensure strength and durability over time.
For practical reasons, it seemed essential that this necklace could go in water; no worries on that front, 316L steel is stainless, so no corrosion is possible.
Of course, there are no skin or allergy issues. We took care to use a hypoallergenic material with a low nickel content to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
Valknut: Odin’s Army
This interpretation is credited to Hilda Ellis Davidson. According to her, this symbol represents the "release of the human spirit granted to certain warriors so they can join Odin’s army for Ragnarok." This connection was made thanks to symbols found on funerary urns in Anglo-Saxon cemeteries, with depictions of wolves and ravens (strongly associated with Odin).
The most striking example remains the Stora Hammar stone. On it, the Valknut is found in the beak of a bird, likely representing a valkyrie coming to fetch a warrior. The theory continues with the man below holding a spear, a symbol of Odin. The scene depicted on the stone would therefore represent the warrior’s passage to Valhalla after dying in battle.
Vegvisir: Symbol of Guidance
The Vegvisir’s name comes from the combination of the Icelandic words vegur (road or path) and visir, which in this context translates best as "guide." Its most basic meaning is that of a signpost or guide. From this, we can deduce the meaning of vegvisir – the runic compass.
But how does the Vegvisir compass work?
Well, it is used magically. It should not be confused with a real Viking compass.
Of course, as experienced sailors, the Vikings were used to traveling over open waters, and for that, they needed something to navigate by. The first Viking compass was one of the Vikings’ most memorable achievements, earning them the title “The first true navigators.” Here, we are not talking about that.

The wolf has been a dangerous creature since the dawn of time. Acting in packs and with violence, they leave no chance to their prey.

Before being chained, Fenrir had two children with a giantess, Larnvidia. His two children, Skoll and Hati, also had the appearance of wolves, much less fierce. During their father’s imprisonment, the two wolves fulfilled their destinies. Skoll chased Sol, the driver of the sun chariot while Hati chased Mani, the driver of the moon chariot.
