1. The Obsidian Promise: 1-Year Luster Warranty (Non-Personalized Gold-Plated Items Only)

We stand behind our quality. We offer a 1-Year Tarnish-Free / Luster Warranty on non-personalized gold-plated jewelry under normal wear.

Coverage

Significant fading, tarnishing, or discoloration of the gold plating under normal wear.

Duration

365 days from the date of delivery.

Our Action

For eligible warranty claims, we provide a one-time free replacement of the same item.
If the item is out of stock, store credit may be issued.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage (scratches, snaps, bends)

  • Improper care or chemical exposure (perfumes, chlorine, harsh cleaners)

  • Lost or stolen items

3. Personalized & Engraved Items (Warranty Scope)

Because personalized or engraved items are made-to-order, the 1-Year Luster Warranty does not apply to these products.

However, personalized items are covered only for:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Damage upon arrival

If you receive a personalized item with a confirmed defect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery. We will assist with a replacement or store credit as appropriate.

4. How To Start A Warranty Claim

Include:

  • Order number

  • Item(s) affected

  • “Warranty Claim” in the subject line

  • Clear photos or videos of the issue

If approved, we will provide next steps. Returned items (if requested) must be shipped within 7 days of receiving instructions.

5. International Warranty Notes

If you are shipping an item back internationally, please mark the package as: “Return — No Commercial Value” to help avoid additional duties.
Any duties/taxes assessed by customs are not reimbursed by Obsidian Restraint.
